PH Steel Chair

Designed in 1932 by Poul Henningsen, the PH Steel Chair distils Bauhaus-era clarity into PH’s own language: a simple, linear construction drawn in bent steel, balanced by oblique curves and exact angles. The legs reminiscent of the roots of a tree provide discreet stability without distracting from the seat and back above. Calm, functional and quietly architectural for dining rooms, meeting spaces and lounges.
