PH Axe Table Lounge

Designed in the first half of the 1950s by Poul Henningsen, the Lounge Edition translates the tactile profile of an axe handle into eight solid oak legs calm strength with a light visual stance. Two sizes at staggered lounge heights let the tables nest as a balanced pair or work individually beside sofas and lounge chairs. A central removable cover reveals a discreet mounting point for a PH 3½–2½ Table Lamp with concealed wiring routed through a leg; shades are available in green, red, yellow or white. Lamp integration is available on the Large model only.
