The Adjustable Piano Bench is crafted with pianists in mind, offering an adjustable-height seat that is fully finished on all sides to keep professional-grade hardware hidden and protected from dust. With its supple comfort and refined design, it pairs beautifully with art case pianos, including Poul Henningsen’s creations, as well as traditional pianos.
The PH Piano Bench, designed by Poul Henningsen in the 1930s, is an iconic piece that exudes playfulness and originality. Its chromed steel legs, or oxidized brass in a finish matching the PH Piano and according to PH Family approval of finishes, featuring a humorous branching design inspired by Charlie Chaplin’s characteristic stance, reflect the same creative philosophy found in PH’s other furniture and steel-tube designs. This bench is a perfect match for PH pianos and stands out as a true design masterpiece among piano benches of any era.

PH Piano Bench
A playful, unmistakable silhouette: the chromed steel legs split into two “feet” at each end and rise in a gentle curve, giving the bench a light, almost Chaplin-like stance. The soft radius transitions and circular arcs echo PH’s steel-tube furniture from the period, tying the bench to the wider PH family while remaining distinctly its own.
